How & why I became a photographer

I had always dreamed of becoming a Wedding Photographer. Being able to capture all the intricate details of someone's biggest day of their life.

I saw one of my favourite Photographers had created a course on how to use a DSLR camera so I took the leap.

I started slowly - taking photos of my son, friends, family, offering free sessions & providing a whole gallery (often including up to 180 images ...) taking a while to know my worth & how to charge for my time.

I was TERRIFIED of doing newborn sessions. Being entrusted with other peoples' babies. I was an introvert & not a very confident person.

Fast forward two & a half years later & I run a successful business that I LOVE & allows me to still be at home with my babies. I photograph weddings & families, am one of the Top 10 Newborn Photographers in Brisbane & have been featured in multiple articles & magazines.

NEWBORN SESSIONS

INVESTMENT - $950

Come shadow me in a One-On-One mentoring session where I'll teach you all my tips & tricks on how I run my newborn sessions, how to pose & position babies, siblings & parents during the session & I'll answer all your questions about lighting, my gear, recommendations, my studio set up, props & anything else on your mind.

Package includes:

Shadow me in a newborn session (I allow up to 90 minutes for my sessions incase Bub is unsettled)
How to carry on through the session with an unsettled bub
In person Posing guide & wrapping techniques
A little goodie bag including a Ziggy Lou Newborn outfit, a Sandisk SD card & some other goodies
We will have a sit down & chat after the session to discuss any questions you may have & anything you are wanting to know (so allow around 3 hours all up)

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to know how to confidently use your camera. This mentorship will not include a guide & support to using your camera.

Maternity sessions

INVESTMENT - $750

Come along to one of my Maternity sessions where I pose expecting mummas whether by themselves or accompanied by their partner, I share the brands of all my client wardrobe pieces, & I'll answer all your questions about lighting, my gear, recommendations, my studio set up, props & anything else on your mind.
