Welcome to Your Newborn Session Experience

Bringing a new life into the world is a moment unlike any other, and I’m honored to help you capture these first, fleeting weeks. This is a safe, relaxed space where you don’t have to worry about anything - just soak in the love and connection with your little one.

Your session is designed to be effortless and full of warmth. You don’t need to know how to pose - that’s what I’m here for. I will gently guide you, ensuring natural, beautiful moments that reflect the love you share. Your baby will be wrapped and dressed in soft, timeless outfits that I provide, and for mummas, my carefully curated client wardrobe offers stunning, comfortable dresses that flatter every postpartum body - so you don’t have to stress about what to wear.

Parents and siblings are always welcome in every newborn session. Feeding is also welcome during your session & breastfeeding moments are always able to be captured if you would like.

Newborns grow and change so quickly so the best time to capture their tiniest details is within the first two weeks of life. These are the memories you’ll hold onto forever - the way they fit so perfectly in your arms, their little fingers curling around yours, the peaceful way they rest on your chest. Let’s preserve these moments, so you can always remember just how small they once were.

If you have any family heirlooms, favourite toy, outfit or something special you would like to bring to our session to include in the photos, please bring them along & let me know. I am also happy to do breastfeeding photos if you are wanting to include those as well.

What do I bring? All you need to bring is yourselves, a bottle if they're bottle fed, a dummy so we are able to comfort them to do our best to keep them asleep during the session (even if the session is the only time you use the dummy), but if they are awake for half or the whole session, please don't stress, we will still get some beautiful photos either way!

What do we wear? I recommend to dress in neutral tones (white, cream, brown, beige) & I will dress/wrap bub in similar colours. For guys, cream chinos/light washed denim & a white/beige shirt look nice & for girls just a white/cream dress work nicely with my edits. Client wardrobe available for newborn sessions as well for Mumma & siblings - please see Client wardrobe.

Dogs welcome if they do not shed & are toilet trained.

As much as we try to achieve all of the positions you are wanting for the session, certain props & poses are dependant on baby's size, how sleepy they are & if they are unsettled.

Please Note: It is recommended to book in your newborn session in advance as I may not have any availabilities once Bub is born & would hate for you to miss out! Newborn sessions are for babies up to 6 weeks of age, but as mentioned, the first 2 weeks are prime time for getting newborn photos.



NOTE: There is a non-refundable deposit of $150 required to secure your session time.
