YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
One day, your baby won't fit perfectly against your chest anymore.
The tiny stretches, sleepy sighs, milk-drunk smiles and the way they instinctively curl into you will slowly become memories. Those first few weeks can feel like a blur, but they're also the beginning of one of the most beautiful chapters of your life.
These photographs aren't about perfection. They're about preserving this season exactly as it felt.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As a mum myself, I know toddlers don't have endless patience, so we begin with siblings and family photos while everyone's feeling fresh.
From there, we follow your baby's lead, stopping whenever they're hungry, unsettled or simply need a cuddle. I'll gently guide and settle your little one throughout the session, while you soak in these precious moments. If you've seen poses you love, I'll always do my best, but every baby is different and their comfort will always come first.
MY STYLE
My sessions are never about perfect poses or forcing smiles.
Instead, I focus on the quiet moments in between moments ~ the tiny hands wrapped around your finger, the way your toddler looks at their new sibling, the little glances between you and your partner that say everything without a word.
These are the moments you'll want to remember years from now.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED
I've carefully curated a collection of beautiful wraps, outfits and accessories for your baby, so there's no need to buy anything special.
I'll also send you a preparation guide before your session with everything you need to know, including what to wear, what to bring and how to prepare older siblings. My goal is to make this experience feel as easy and stress-free as possible from the moment you book.

LOCATION
I have a studio in Ripley (Ipswich) where I do all indoor newborn sessions. We are lovers of natural light so all studio sessions are done of a morning when the sun is shining through & creating a beautifully wholesome space where your family is able to settle in & take a moment to breathe.
WHEN’S THE BEST TIME TO BOOK?
It’s highly recommended to book your newborn session in advance - ideally while you’re in your first/second trimester. My calendar fills quickly and I would hate for you to miss out on this precious time. Newborn sessions are for babies up to 6 weeks of age, but the first two weeks are the prime window to capture those dreamy, sleepy newborn photos. Booking early ensures we can secure a date and stay flexible if bub arrives earlier or later than expected.
I DON’T WANT BUB’S FACE DISPLAYED ONLINE
Your privacy is always respected. If you prefer to keep your baby’s face off social media, please let me know before or at your session. These photographs are first and foremost for you - they never have to be shared with anyone else for them to be incredibly meaningful and worthwhile.
CAPTURING BEHIND THE SCENES
You’re welcome to capture little behind-the-scenes moments on video to remember the day, but I kindly ask that no photos are taken during the session. You’ve hired me to create these memories for you, so I can ensure the images are beautifully lit, composed and timeless.
